Spinrite is looking for a motivated and eager candidate who offers sound experience in accounts receivable and has excellent analytical skills. This role will maintain an accurate and complete trail of documentation for all activities, so the ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and prioritization abilities. They will also display superior communication skills to maintain strong relationships with customers and accounting professionals.

Reporting into the AR Supervisor, the Accounts Receivable Clerk will primarily be responsible for a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties such as ongoing customer maintenance, invoicing, payment application, claim management and account collection.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain incoming payments from Spinrite customers
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payment, delayed payment or other irregularities
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Process credit card payments
  • Investigate and resolve customer claims
  • Compilation of documentation for the purposes of submitting proof of deliveries
  • Generate and distribute customer invoices
  • Maintain customer records and account information
  • Work with finance team members to ensure adherence to deadlines and objectives
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of accounts receivable and general accounting experience
  • University Degree or College Diploma in related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Strong computer skills in applications including:
    • Microsoft office: Specifically, Excel and Word
    • Accounting software: Experience in an ERP environment (Visual Manufacturing, Global Financials, PRMS, Microsoft D365 preferred)
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable process
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles, budgets and internal controls
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service skills
