Spinrite is the largest craft yarn and sewing thread company in North America. As an industry leader focused on growth, Spinrite is looking for an Assistant Shopper Marketing Manager to help support our Marketing team.

Reporting to the Shopper Experience Manager, this individual is responsible for leading the evaluation and analysis (including ROI) of program results, proposing adjustments to improve effectiveness and optimization of each program and identify areas of opportunity for future programs. This individual needs to be comfortable with change and uncertainty and must be agile and ready for constant changes as Spinrite is a fast-growing company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Business Acumen
• Support the development of the P&L as directed by the SEM
• Relevant PO creation, invoice processing, and budgetary tracking as needed
• Use research and insights to create value in the market for our target audience, Spinrite and our retailer
• Drive consumption growth within the category by supporting the development of retailer Marketing plans

Strategic Creativity
• Generate new, actionable, relevant ideas that drive profitable growth
• Analyze research, trends and competition
• Identify and mitigate risks

Organizational Quarterback
• Rally cross functional teams to organize shopper programs that are unique, value-added, based on category, brand and customer strategies, in order to drive revenue and customer engagement
• Collaborate with retailer marketing and account teams to execute Shopper initiatives, ensuring brand impact is maximized
• Create, measure and apply learnings

• Provide Shopper Experience expertise and insight into customer presentations
• Reporting back to Marketing, outline success factors and opportunities to drive improved attainment of objectives

Qualifications:
– College or university education in Business or Marketing
– 1 – 2 years’ experience in a related role
– Strong computer skills in applications including: Office, Excel, Word
– Solid communication skills, able to work cross-functionally with all levels within the organization
– Independent, entrepreneurial thinker, and adaptable to change
– Strong customer focus
– Creative and strategic thinker, great at problem solving
– Strong interpersonal and teamwork skill
