Spinrite is looking for two Maintenance Leads to join our growing Manufacturing facility in Albany, GA. These candidates will be a single point guidance and focus for all maintenance activity on either B or C Shift. Ensure that maintenance activity planned for their assigned shift is scheduled to the proper technician, executed as planned and proper feedback on status is supplied to the maintenance planner for any needed follow-up. Be the voice of maintenance with operational partners and proactively move resources around to address any major equipment issues or potential production interruptions. Executing the Maintenance Plan, Operational Support and Asset Performance are the main areas of focus for this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts a brief, start of shift, huddle meeting with maintenance people to emphasize safety, work priorities and key notes from previous shift
  • Ensures that a safe work environment is always in place and is the paramount focus
  • Leads, moves and shares all maintenance tradespeople on a given shift to best satisfy business needs
  • Responsible for scheduling of maintenance resources and execution of Maintenance Plan. Timely feedback regarding status of Maintenance Plan to the Maintenance Planning function is mandatory
  • Identifies opportunities to improve or advance the PM program on a daily basis
  • Accurately captures and reports the equipment downtime information for the given shift
  • Will be the main point of contact on the off shifts for entry into the Maintenance Storeroom
  • Validates that all maintenance tradesperson work hours are captured correctly for the given shift
  • Generate necessary Work Requests for maintenance items discovered on shift
  • Conduct weekly safety scans of maintenance related areas; i.e.- shop, parts storage area, etc.
  • Verify that proper Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures are followed by maintenance personnel
  • Directs any contractors or maintenance support personnel that may be on shift
  • Other duties as assigned


  • 2 year degree in relevant technical area or 10+ years of relevant experience in a Manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills

  • Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient computer skills to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Lean methods and processes
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize work to best service business needs
  • Able to handle multiple priorities
