About the Role

This Engineer will play a key role by assisting management in the Continuous Improvement function by optimizing current processes to improve plant production efficiency, reduce cost and improve product quality.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assess processes, take measurements, and interpret data

  • Work measurement on current processes

  • Maintain product standard cost

  • Ergonomic evaluations on current process

  • Design, run, test, and upgrade processes

  • Evaluate new machinery and aid in preparation of the capital request

  • Develop best work procedures to improve efficiencies

  • Work with Management Team to develop and implement Cost Reduction Program

  • Perform risk assessments

  • Provide process documentation and standard operating procedures

  • Investigate solutions and implement corrective actions when quality issues are found

  • Assist Management Team in budget preparation

  • Facilitate Kaizen and 5S events


  • 3+ years Supervisory/Leadership experience in a 24-hour manufacturing environment.

  • Working knowledge with Lean Manufacturing principles and Lean Six Sigma.

  • Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering
