About the Role

Reporting directly to the Director, FP&A, this position will be responsible for detailed reporting and analysis for a variety of departments across the organization. You will have the opportunity to be a key driver in our organization’s performance by providing detailed insights and business recommendations to continue to push our business forward.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Financial Projections – Own the development and maintenance of the monthly financial projection model and related analysis. Responsible for driver development and validation. Prepare forecast deliverables including detailed 3-statement forecast for key stakeholders.

  • Budget – Own the development and maintenance of the annual budget model and analysis. Responsible for driver development, input collection and operational support. Prepare inputs to the budget presentation package to leadership, Board and Ownership

  • Operational Budget Support – Owner of budget data used in ongoing financial reporting, dashboarding and PowerBI analytics. Support operational partners in fully understanding budget process, data collection and budget output.

  • Operations Finance – Partner with operational leaders to drive operational improvements through data analysis. Assist with the review and analysis of operational performance and waste, inventory forecasting and other ad hoc operational analysis support.

  • KPI / Dashboard Reporting – Responsible for the development / preparation and analysis of Executive dashboard reporting.

  • Special Projects - Assist with financial analysis for special projects as required.

  • ERP Implementation - Assist as part of a cross functional team in the planning, design and execution of an ERP implementation.

  • Prepare communications and analysis to Senior Management, the Board and Ownership as required.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • CPA designation, preferred

  • Post secondary education in business or accounting and/or MBA

  • 3-4 years general accounting and/or business analysis experience

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Flexible and team oriented

  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point) with extensive experience developing models.

  • Experience with MRP systems and BI software, including Visual Manufacturing, Global Financials and Power BI is an asset
